Regulatory non-news TV channels broadcast 12 minutes of advertising per hour timeframe may apply tomorrow . Ads no deadline was given to broadcasters which expires on Monday . However , the quality of services TRAI regulation is still in the balance .
Under this hour 12 minutes more per channel can not broadcast advertising or promotional materials . Many broadcasters against the Telecom Dispute Settlement Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT ) has appealed .
TRAI said that ads Court did not limit the tribunal law . As such it will be applied . Under Regulation channels on a weekly basis to give details of ads shown per hour .
However, the news channels representing News Broadcasters Association on August 30, in this case the tribunal has found some relief . Until further order of this tribunal TRAI not take any action against the members . In addition to the weekly news channels are exempt from reporting to the regulator .
